• KS1 History Off The Page

  As a big bang to their History topic, Year One and Two took part in a HOTP day linked to the Great Fire of London.  Master Craig who led the sessions was impressed by the children’s focus, engagement and enthusiasm throughout the two days.  The children were transported back to 1666 and discovered what life what like.  They took part in different jobs, becoming weavers, apothecaries and candle makers to name just a few.  Master Craig also shared information about how the fire started, why it spread and how it ended.  Thank you to the PTFA for subsiding the cost of this event. 

  

• Playground Markings

  We were very excited to have Design and Lines in school installing our playground markings.  The children had shared their ideas for what they thought would be best for keeping us active in school and the School Council made the final decision.  We were very lucky to recieve funding from Histon Feast and from the IVC Fireworks Committee to cover the cost of these.  Thank you to both!
