Histon and Impington

Park Primary School

PTFA

Welcome to the HI Park Primary PTFA section of our website

Who are we?

Hi Park Primary PTFA are a group of volunteer parents and teachers who fundraise to provide additional activities and equipment for the children at Histon & Impington Park Primary School (registered charity number 1096921).

Through our activities we also try to bring together families to create a community - any new suggestions for events are always welcome!

Fundraising activities include the summer fair, school discos and quiz nights. Resources and equipment funded by the PTFA include Times Table Rockstars, Skipping Workshops and Play Therapy.

In 2022, thanks to donations from the Histon and Impington Feast and Fireworks, the PTFA were able to fund new playground markings: https://www.hihub.info/news-in-brief/community-events-fund-playground-fun-at-park-primary/

See the latest newsletter for details of upcoming and recent activities as well as things we’ve funded.

Thank you to everyone for their ongoing support.

How to get involved

The Committee meet once a month (either online or in-person) to discuss fundraising activities and events, all parents/carers are welcome to join us at these meetings. Committee elections take place at the AGM held in October.

We appreciate not everyone has the time to commit being on the committee/regularly attend meetings but there are also a number of other ways you can still get involved:

Become a class representative

Every class has a PTFA rep – through them we keep parents/carers up to date of fundraising activities. It also provides an easy way for to provide the PTFA with feedback and suggestions for future events. It’s not compulsory for Class Reps to join the committee but many do attend occasional meetings. Please email us if you want to know more.

Not sure who your class rep is, email us and we will put you in contact.

Join the PTFA Helper Group
