Physical Education
At CPET both staff and children are passionate about Physical Education (P.E.) The enthusiasm and love for PE and sport is evident across all our schools. The impact of this commitment means that our children are focused learners who benefit from regular activity throughout the day and week. The children report that they feel encouraged, supported and feel more focused and ready to learn when back in class. The use of Pupil Voice is strong and is used to constantly review and improve our provision.
Our P.E. curriculum includes- Games, Dance, Gym, Athletics, Health and Fitness, Fundamentals, Swimming and Outdoor Adventurous Activities. Children at CPET schools receive high-quality lessons from specialist games, dance and gymnastic teachers (and class teachers) from Reception to Year 6. On a daily basis, children throughout CPET engage in active playtime breaks and regular dynamic breaks both indoors and outdoors, which all add to the daily total of exercise and link to national initiatives to increase sport and exercise.
