Year 1 Castle Day

On Thursday 10th February, Year 1 celebrated Castle Day. Children were very excited to come to school dressed in medieval clothing. Throughout the day, children participated in a variety of medieval activities. They created their own crowns, made clay gargoyles and learned medieval dancing. Children also enjoyed role-playing and jousting! In the afternoon, children ate a banquet with their class and reflected on the day's activities.
