Stone Age Day!

As part of their learning about the Stone Age Year 3 were visited by Andy from Theatre of Widdershin. Andy, as always, provided us with a spellbinding mixture of Storytelling and puppetry with lots of Historical information and jokes(both good and bad) thrown in! He recounted the Story of Ug, Dug and Bug, three cavemen brothers searching for fire. The children then had the opportunity to draw and print some 'Cave painting' style pictures. All the children had a fantastic day, learnt a little more History and created some stunning artwork. Go to the Gallery to see some of the wonderful printing that we did!
