Ready, Steady, Cook
On Tuesday 17th May our Year 3 children had the opportunity to join in a nationwide cook-a-long as part of National Vegetarian Week. This was an exciting opportunity for the whole year group to learn new skills and a new recipe that they can then go home and cook again for their families. The workshop was provided jointly and sponsored by the ‘Cook school’ and Linda McCartney Foods.
Staff from these two organisations helped all the children to make and bake a mini vegetarian party pie which they will then get to eat or take home, as well as providing them with ingredients to replicate it at home with you!
