We certainly ended the week with better weather than we started it with! Lots of fantastic learning has happened this week. I was able to witness first hand some of the amazing reading and writing that our Reception children are demonstrating after less than 10 weeks with us. On a tour this week, prospective parents for Reception in 2026 could not believe the writing that the children were already producing, how hard they worked to sound out words in their reading groups and how ‘steady’ they all were when moving from one place to another. It makes me incredibly proud when we recieve comments like this and is, I hope, a reflection of both the school and the amazing children we are lucky enough to have at our school.
