As well as aiming to give all our children great learning opportunities we also want to give them opportunities to take on responsibilities. This week has highlighted this brilliantly. A number of our Year 6 children have met their Reception ‘buddies’ for the first time and have shown amazing kindness, empathy and on occasions patience! Children in Year 5 have had ‘play leader’ training which means they are now ‘qualified’ to organise games and activities for some of our younger children. I have also met with a group of our Year 4
